Aftercare

Stick & Poke Aftercare:

Keep your second-skin bandage on for at least 5 days (minimum). This protects your tattoo while it starts healing and helps reduce irritation, friction, and bacteria exposure.

While the second-skin is on (Days 1–5+)

Leave it in place and try not to pick at the edges.

Avoid soaking (no baths, pools, hot tubs, or long showers).

If the bandage becomes loose, leaks, or fully lifts and won’t stay sealed, remove it and start the cleaning steps below.

After you remove the second-skin

Wash your hands first.

Gently wash the tattoo using lukewarm water and scentless soap (no fragrance).

Rinse thoroughly—don’t scrub.

Pat dry with clean paper towels (avoid cloth towels).

Apply a thin layer of tattoo moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated (a little goes a long way).

Important notes

Keep the tattoo clean, moisturized, and protected while it heals.

Avoid picking, scratching, or peeling—let any flaking happen naturally.

Avoid heavy sun exposure; once healed, use sunscreen to help protect the tattoo.

If you notice unusual swelling, spreading redness, heat, pus, or severe pain, it’s best to check in with a medical professional.
